“Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.” | |

Erik,
ReplyDeleteYour student has made so much progress, since you first started. You're not the only one proud of him! Tell him that I would love to see his vocabulary poster. Kudos!
Erik,
ReplyDeleteI hear you!! that's how I felt today...just when I thought we were getting somewhere, the road to success seemed further away! I realized that although we both did our QRI's the difference was you took the time to play scrabble with him. My student and I tested the whole session. Next session, we will test then do some word stips or word flip books...maybe that will motivate him to do better in his test!!
What may start out as a little progress will eventually lead to significant results if he continues to practice reading. We only hope that our students will do well after these sessions.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Annette that it will snowball into more success if he is able to sustain the momentum. And we're all proud of your student and all of ours. It's no mean feat to overcome their difficulties--but they are!
